About Us

Meriden Motorcycle Club was established in 1923 on a not-for-profit basis. The club seeks to promote the sociability and good friendship among its members, and to promote interest in and conduct of motorcycle trials, enduro events, hare scrambles, poker runs, street rides and other forms of motorcycle competition and ridership.

The members of the club have been meeting every Thursday at 8 p.m. for more than 100 years, exclusive of war time, holiday periods, and global pandemics. Guests are welcome at our weekly meetings to learn more about the club. For more information, see the links below.

MMC is an AMA chartered club, #74. We are among the oldest motorcycle clubs in the nation, and one of the oldest remaining AMA chartered clubs. We were at the forefront of motorcycling in its earliest days, organizing legendary hill climbs in the nearby terrain that drew participants from around the country. The club members hope to continue the traditions of those early motorcycle pioneers for a long time to come.

MMC was featured in the American Motorcyclist Association's monthly magazine. AMA members can read the article here, page 20: AMA Magazine November 2023 edition
